28/06/2026 - 20:00 @ Spoleto Sfera

Ian Yves Ancheta is a Swedish/Filipino dancer and choreographer based in Norway. He studied at ArtEZ University of the Arts, earning a BA in dance with a specialization in choreography. Ian’s artistic path is defined by an exploration of the unexpected within the worlds of dance and theatre. His choreographic works have been presented at venues and platforms such as Dansens Hus (NO), NoXsense (SE), Bmotion (IT), Danslokaal (NL), and Moving Futures (NL).

In addition to his choreographic practice, Ian works as a performer with renowned companies including Nagelhus Schia Productions, Panta Rei Danseteater, and Jo Strømgren Kompani. His diverse experience includes performing works by acclaimed choreographers such as Ingri Fiksdal, Tom Weinberger, Daniel Proietto, Ingrid Berger Myhre, Conny Janssen, and Carolyn Carlson.

Anna Benedicte Andresen, born and raised in Hamar, Norway, currently lives and works in Oslo, where she collaborates with Jo Strømgren Kompani. She trained at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO), graduating with a BA in contemporary dance, and has worked with choreographers and companies such as Nagelhus Schia Productions, Ingrid Berger Myhre, Stian Danielsen, and Alan Lucien Øyen. Her versatile artistic practice spans a wide range of creative projects both in Norway and across Europe.

Born in Belgium, until the age of 21 Iannes Bruylant pursued a high-level athletic career in gymnastics while simultaneously studying medicine. In a strongly polarised and conflict-driven world, Bruylant’s artistic practice is animated by a desire to actively challenge the “us versus them” mindset and to build bridges between himself and others, as well as between the audience and the wider collective.

His aim is to cultivate empathy, understanding, and connection through performances that are vulnerable, imperfect, and accessible. His artistic language combines physical intensity with emotional openness, inviting the audience to engage through feeling rather than judgment. As a dancer, he has collaborated with Jo Strømgren Kompani, Nagelhus Schia Productions, Panta Rei Danseteater, and Scapino Ballet Rotterdam. His choreographic work takes the form of conversations, public interventions, site-specific projects, and full stage productions, and has toured across Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, and Germany. He was also a finalist and award winner at the prestigious International Choreographic Competition in Hanover.
