Davide Mancini Zanchi

Arti Visive
26/06/2026 - 18:00 @ Casa Menotti

Davide Mancini Zanchi is the visual artist of this edition and will present an exhibition titled Cose piccole, in which he interprets “recreation” as “re-creation,” altering the forms and functions of everyday objects through dysfunctional sculptures and paintings of mysterious subjects.

The works explore an alternative reality, referencing minoris pictura to offer, through art, a suspended moment away from everyday life. The exhibition will be hosted across two venues: the Meeting Point and Casa Menotti.

Davide Mancini Zanchi was born in Urbino in 1986. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino, he was a resident artist at the DENA Foundation in Paris in 2014. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, including at A+B Gallery in Brescia, Otto Gallery in Bologna, the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria in Pesaro, Fondazione Pastificio Cerere in Rome, and Megadue in Bologna.

In 2020 he received the Italian Council award for a cultural exchange project in Uruguay with a residency in Montevideo. In 2022, MONOCHROMO, a monographic book curated by Gabriele Tosi and published by Cura.books, was released, documenting his artistic journey. He currently lives and works in Acqualagna and teaches Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino.
