Giuseppe Armogida is a professor of Aesthetics at the Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila and at NABA in Rome. His research interests focus on contemporary debates in image theory, as well as the intersections between philosophy and psychoanalysis.
Following his experience with Miniera, in 2025 he founded Flaming Creatures, a project aimed at building a mobile and porous landscape between sonic and visual practices. The initiative fosters encounters between musical research, performance, and artistic experimentation, encouraging formats that resist fixed boundaries and instead operate as open, evolving environments.
Through this work, Armogida develops a curatorial and theoretical framework where sound and image are not separate disciplines but interconnected fields of inquiry, constantly reshaped by collaboration, performance contexts, and critical reflection.
