Ben Bertrand is a Belgian composer who uses bass clarinet and numerous electronic devices to create hypnotic sonic flows that stretch and expand time and space.
He has toured extensively across Europe, performing at venues and festivals such as Meakusma Festival, Ancienne Belgique, Le Lieu Unique, BRDCST Festival, Schiev Festival, Le Guess Who?, World Minimal Music Festival, Rewire Festival, Cafe OTO, Ina GRM, and Sonic Acts.
He has released several albums on Stroom and other labels, and has appeared on various compilations. He also collaborated with Christina Vantzou on her latest album N5, released by Kranky. His most recent record Relic Radiation was released in March 2025 on Stroom.
